Film for this date: The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind — Based on true events, this film tells the story of a 14-year-old boy in Malawi who saves his village during a famine through intelligence, inventiveness, and a strong belief in human capability. Written and directed by English-Nigerian actor Chiwetel Ejiofor, this film won several prizes at international festivals.
