Argentinian Tango Class began last week, brought to you by Laura Raia, Buenos Aires native and long time tango dance student and teacher. From Laura: “For me, tango is much more than learning steps or memorizing choreography. Join us for our Spanish Club every First Thursday of the month from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.! There'll be engaging discussions with speakers from Intermediate to Advanced, but all are welcome. We look forward to seeing you there!

Our new Italian Conversation group led by professor of Italian Studies, Dr. Santina Ventimiglia Fortunato begins on September 14. This group for Advanced or Native speakers will take place weekly on Mondays from 10:00 AM - 11:20 AM in person. Participation will be a free benefit for members of International House!

Since we have so much interest in this opportunity and want to be sure that all participants have a chance to really speak, we will begin by capping the number of participants at 10-15 people.  If you would like to chat about joining this group, please reach out to Heidi at heidi@ihouseri.org

Mr. Picard, who is bilingual in French and English, will share experiences, stories and insights from his rich life history via a moderated discussion followed by a Q&A period. We hope that you will join us for what promises to be a very memorable event!
