Eliza Squibb Artist Talk
Please join us for an ephemeral exhibit and artist talk by Eliza Squibb about her ongoing project, “Tree of Life for Breast/Chest Health”. In partnership with Higher Ground International, Eliza’s artwork explores global textile motifs and their potential as metaphors for health communication that can break down language and literacy barriers to create more equitable healthcare access.
Please note that while the talk and artwork focus on positive themes of visual design and empowerment, the theme of breast cancer and global inequities is at the core of this story. The theme will be discussed with intention and care.

Homecoming - A Photo Exhibit by Dominique Sindayiganza
Homecoming
A Photo Exhibit by Dominique Sindayiganza
Opening Reception: November 8th, 1-4 p.m.
Closing Party: December 7th, 1-4 p.m.
Thanks to a generous grant from the City of Providence Department of Art, Culture, and Tourism's ACT Project Fund, IHRI is delighted to host a photography exhibit by our good friend, Dominique Sindayiganza! Dominique's work celebrates the faces and domestic spaces of Rhode Island's African Diasporic community members, and we are honored that his family portraits will grace our walls for a month. Stop by the opening reception on November 8th or the closing party on December 7th to meet the artist and celebrate our beautiful community!
