“My passion for peace, love, and goodwill still exists because my co-founders of the House, Gilbert, and Dr. Bili Mason, who have devoted their lives to many years of service to the House, and continue to remind me that we together established a unique thing to help incoming and outgoing international students build bonds and everlasting friendships. The House has been providing all types of service to many families such as help in seeking affordable housing, help to learn English with the volunteer teachers, help in exploring the customs and cultures of different countries by having international dinners, seminars, and social activities. In fact, I met my wife in 1966 at the International House.” -Dharam Ablashi

All gifts in memory of Dharam will go towards establishing the Dharam Ablashi Fund for International Scholars at International House of Rhode Island.
