Spring is almost here! On Saturday, April 24, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM, International House of Rhode Island will present a brand-new exhibition, Exchange: Stories from the International House of Rhode Island. Curated by Deborah Krieger (Brown University MA in Public Humanities ’21), Exchange focuses on the stories of friendship, cross-cultural learning and community that make IHRI such a special place. Featuring numerous art objects and gifts from the IHRI’s collection, visitors will have the opportunity to also share their impressions of, and reflections on, these works of art.
Visitors are also invited to join us to enjoy international-themed refreshments provided by local vendors.
This event will be in line with COVID-19 safety precautions. Beginning at 10:00 AM, eight people will be allowed to visit Exchange during each hour-long slot.
Masks will be mandatory and will be provided if necessary. Hand sanitizer will be placed throughout the exhibition space as well as at the front door, and latex gloves will be available upon request.
