Having grown up in three continents, Manny Gominho (IH board member and volunteer) will present his story of a lifelong, yet largely arm’s length, relationship with art, stemming from a natural ability to draw and create but no matching interest in pursuing a career in the Arts; hence no formal training. He will discuss people’s expectations of one with a perceived “natural gift” and recount how he managed to exercise artistic expression as an intermittent activity throughout his non artistic technical career as an engineer. Throughout the presentation, Manny will show and discuss his most recent artwork.
